Description
Job Summary: A Sales Associate is required to provide excellent customer service and support sales activities in a retail setting. The ideal candidate will assist customers, promote products, and help achieve sales targets. They should have strong communication skills and a passion for sales. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers as they enter the store. Provide product information and recommendations to customers. Promote and sell products to meet sales targets. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Stock and replenish merchandise as needed. Assist with inventory management and stocktaking. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and sales techniques. Follow company policies and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a sales associate or in a similar role. Knowledge of retail sales and customer service principles. Proficiency in using point of sale (POS) systems. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Basic math skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Experience: At least 1 years of experience in a retail sales role is preferred. Work Environment: The job involves working in a retail store environment. May require standing for long periods and lifting/moving merchandise. Salary: The salary range for a Sales Associate in the UAE varies depending on experience and qualifications, typically ranging from AED 2,000 to AED 4,000 per month. Additional Information: Must have a positive attitude and be able to work as part of a team. Must be willing to undergo continuous training to keep up with industry trends and standards. Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences is an advantage.
